Virtualbox crashes when selecting another window

Issue

After upgrading to macOS Catalina can start and run a virtual machine just fine, but the moment I minimize the window like I click on another one, the VM immediately crashes.

Solution

You have to disable on “System Preferences” -> “Privacy” > “Input Monitoring” and UNCHECK Virtualbox if checked. If you don’t see this option here just add it and UNCHECK it.
